Eric Counts is an exemplary educator with 25+ years of experience. Mr. Counts’s passion for education is rooted in his desire and commitment in profoundly impacting the lives of children and future generations. Mr. Counts earned a Bachelor of Science in Aviation/Air Traffic Control, Masters in Mathematics, and is working towards a Doctorate in Special Education. He has earned certifications in Administrator I/II, English Language Learners, Mathematics, and Special Education. Mr. Counts has experience teaching math and/or special education in alternative programs, elementary school, middle school, high school, and college. Mr. Counts also has previous experience as an Assistant Principal and Principal. Mr. Counts currently works for K Altman Law as a Special Education Advocate. Additionally, Mr. Counts works in Special Education Compliance, serves as an Adjunct Math Professor, and contracts with the Maryland State Department of Education as member of the Expert Review Team under the Blueprint for Maryland’s Future.
