Lindsay holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education and Special Education, along with a certificate in At-Risk Children from Washington State University. With almost three decades of experience in education, she has dedicated her career to advocating for students with diverse learning needs. She has served as a special education teacher, a small district’s special education director, and a special education consultant, ensuring that students receive the support and resources they need to thrive.
Lindsay is deeply committed to empowering parents by acknowledging their bond with their child and helping them gain a clear understanding of their rights, their child’s rights, and their child’s strengths. Her expertise includes navigating the complexities of special education law, working with students with behavior needs, fostering effective communication between parents and school professionals, student strength-centered planning, intervention strategies tailored to student success, and promoting a growth mindset to support lifelong learning.
Beyond her professional work, Lindsay is deeply rooted in family and agriculture. She is married with three almost-grown children—one on the verge of starting her college volleyball era at Carroll College (Go Saints!), and two studying animal science in Texas (Guns Up! and Go Rams!). Her husband’s first love is cattle, and Lindsay shares that passion. The two travel and work together, spending time between Montana, Oregon, Texas, and wherever else cattle and their children lead them.
