Nikki Camiso, Esquire

Nikki Camiso is K. Altman Law’s Student Defense attorney. She has almost twenty years of experience as a trial attorney and advocate for the rights of students from the beginning of their education through graduate school, medical school, and law school. Ms. Camiso also has a strong background in special education, public entity law, and professional liability. She has a wealth of experience representing clients at all stages of mediation and arbitration, skills which are essential to our student defense practice.

Ms. Camiso is passionate about the student defense work that she does and is remarkably dedicated. Coming from a military family, she has special interest in veteran’s rights, and is a steadfast champion of the underdog. In the interests of public service, Ms. Camiso serves as an arbitrator for the Superior Court of New Jersey. She is also a voice for those who cannot defend themselves, assisting with animal rescue both personally and professionally, on a pro bono basis.

Ms. Camiso received both her undergraduate degree and law degree from Temple University, where she successfully represented Beasley School of Law at a competitive level in both trial advocacy and appellate work, earning her several accolades and awards.

Ms. Camiso is experienced in both State and Federal Court and is admitted to practice in the States of New Jersey and Pennsylvania, as well as the United States District Court of New Jersey. She likewise represents clients all over the country in both administrative and legal proceedings, giving her a diverse familiarity with the intricacies that arise at an individual State level.
