Norah Schumann received her Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from Illinois State University and two Master’s degrees from Indiana University in Special Education Severe Disabilities and Organizational Leadership. Norah is a veteran teacher and administrator with more than 25 years of serving families with her child-centered philosophy. In 2015, her family moved from Chicago to North Port, Florida where she is a survivor of countless record-breaking winters, a Category 4 Hurricane named Ian and one 108-year baseball drought (GO CUBS!). Prior to joining K Altman Law she was the Program Director for the Gene Matthews Boys and Girls Club of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties. As a Special Education Advocate Norah is committed to empowering families and their students by supporting them throughout the special education process.
