Teri’s career began as a Legal Assistant in a complex civil litigation firm and advanced through leadership roles, including serving as Lead Legal Secretary in the legal department of a Fortune 500 insurance company. She further honed her skills as Office Manager for a nationwide legal firm with four locations, where she developed a keen ability to manage operations and nurture strategic collaborations. Her current role at K Altman Law leverages her unique blend of experience, empathy, and determination to build partnerships that create lasting value for clients and stakeholders alike.
A dedicated problem solver, Teri is known for her compassionate approach to uncovering root causes and crafting tailored solutions. She thrives on connecting people and ideas, particularly in challenging situations, fostering strong, mutually beneficial relationships that drive success.
Teri’s values are deeply rooted in family and community. Her parents, high school sweethearts, have been married for 55 years. Her father, a retired Senior Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force and high school history teacher, and her mother, who spent over three decades in the elementary school system, inspired Teri’s commitment to service and education. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Steve, and their spirited pug, Penelope Lou.
